Decorating the foyer is one of my favorite spots, it welcomes my visitors with festive pomp and circumstance and allows for some creativity as it isn't in the way of everyday life. Take the opportunity for these often forgotten spaces to jazz it up with unusual vingettes, textures, shapes and color. The foyer table grounds all the holiday creations and they are never the same from year to year or holiday to holiday - it is a perpetual work in progress.
